So I made a decision about my life and idk I guess I decided to tell tumblr!

In August of 2012, I came up with this idea for a story. It really just hit me out of nowhere, and I thought it was really intriguing and jotted it down really quickly. Well I forgot about it for a little while, but around the time of NaNoWriMo, I realized that I needed I needed a story to work with for writing during the month of November. Instantly, that idea I had came to mind, and I started working out the kinks; planning it out, creating graphs and character charts and things like that. I got really excited about it, and by the end of November, my word count was a little over 50,000 words with seven chapters finished. It wasn’t even close to being finished, and I told myself that when I had more time I’d definitely work on it.

Well I started thinking about that story again last night and today, and I’ve decided I really want to push it forward. I want to work on it whenever I can—during breaks from school, on the weekends; basically whenever I have the ability to write, I’m going to try and work on it.

Basically, to make a long story short, what I really want is to finish this story, edit it, and try to get it published. I’ve wanted to be a writer for a long time now, and while I role play and write fanfiction and stuff in my spare time, my personal writing has taken a bit of a back seat. When I was sixteen I finished my first novel, and while it’s not something I feel reflects the best of my ability and definitely not something I’d be interested in published anymore, this story is. I didn’t even realize until I started it how much I’ve been waiting for a story like this.

So that’s what I’m going to try and do. And uhm YEAH.
